So at my first therapist appointment on Tuesday we determined I am anxious, depressed and have low self-esteem. I pretty much knew that already, and at this point it might have just made it worse to get it clinically confirmed. Anyway, the way being depressed is manifesting itself lately is that it's really hard for me to get out of bed in the morning.
I'm salaried, so when I'm just heading to the office for the day I try to be there around 8:15, but it doesn't really matter. So I lay in bed basically forever. I'm average almost 10 hours in bed every night this week. I've always been an infrequent shower-er, but this has taken it to epic levels. Like, once a week levels.
So I was at Target yesterday and I thought I'd pick up some of that magical stuff called dry shampoo to help me not look like a greasy mess when I wander into work an hour late. I got Herbal Essences because it was the first stuff I could find on the shelf. Sadly, this morning I tried it and not only did it not seem to do anything, but the smell has now given me an awful headache.
Anyone have better luck with any other dry shampoos? Or tips for getting in the shower when you'd rather curl up into a ball and disappear forever?
