I'm having a Halloween party this year. It is being held on Halloween, so I know a lot of my coworkers won't be able to come, because it's on a Thursday. Either way, I sent an invitation to everyone in my office (27 people). However, 2 of them are Jehovah's witnesses. I know that no matter what the scheduling, they wouldn't be able to come, because it's a holiday celebration. I invited them anyway, but now I'm wondering, should I have? Am I being dismissive of their religious beliefs by inviting them when I know that they can't go? Or is it more rude to invite 25 or 27 people without saying anything?
