Re the Women’s Strike article on the main page: a lot of comments are people explaining why they won’t be participating as they don’t want to risk their job security and incomes over something that feels a bit nebulous. Which is fair.

I was just wondering if anyone is willing to share, if if you know what your personal tipping point would be. As in, if you aren’t prepared to risk your livelihood by striking now, is there a scenario and for what loss or risk to civil liberty you would potentially risk it for later? Hypothetically speaking of course, as your tipping point will hopefully never happen.

I have to say the comments on that post were reassuring to me as a non American, as it confirmed for me that you guys aren’t anywhere near considering actual insurrection as an option.
