Seriously, why?

I'm not talking about cool/interesting pictures of creatively-done meals (Medusa) or a step-by-step on how to make interesting baked products (chritter). THOSE are great. Those are awesome! Show those! Hell, even anything you made yourself, if you think it turned out well, is something I'm fine with — be proud of your own creations!

But why, I ask you, do people post "I GOT A CHEESE SANDWICH" pictures of something they just bought from a store, while it's still in the fucking wrapper, on Facebook?! WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT. Don't act proud of some shit you just paid $7 for. YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING OTHER THAN BEING ANNOYING AND LAME.

PS. paranoid_shiksa, I realize you're about to inundate me with sandwich images, and I am prepared for this.
