Welcome To The Bitchery

What are some products that you absolutely swear by? Do you have a favorite something you use everyday and would recommend in a heartbeat? I recently bought some Smashbox color correcting green primer and it actually works! I was a little skeptical at first cause when does stuff actually work really well, ya know? My face has been so red and splotchy lately and this shit actually really neutralized the red. It was pretty amazing.

Other stuff I love: Sally Hansen Vitamin E & Cuticle oil. Leaves your nails so nice and moisturized and brings sad looking toenails back to life. I just have to remember to use it!

Bumble & Bumble creme de coco shampoo and conditioner. I love this stuff! Smells good and my hair just does really well with it. I was using regular drugstore shampoo and when I finally splurged and bought some of this my hair looked so good! Less frizz and not weighed down, really healthy looking. I have thin/fine hair and kept getting this weird buildup despite using clarifying shampoo and not using too many products. But its so expensive! Haven’t bought this in quite awhile. Sigh...

Speaking of expensive..right now I’m using this Davines shampoo and conditioner from my hairdresser. I recently got highlights so needed something to baby them with. I also really like Redken Color Extend shampoo and much, much more my budget at $16 as opposed to $25-$30 like the last two suggestions.

Random non-makeup recommendation: Dobie Cleaning Pad!!! Hands down the only sponge/scrubber thing I like to use when cleaning dishes. This is passed down from my dad. That’s all he uses, ever. When my mom tries out a new sponge or brush he’s always asking where his Dobie is. :) I think I also got my guy hooked on them too. It just works well.

Okay, sorry for THE LONGEST POST EVER.

What are your recs?

Oh, in the last makeup thread I posted about trying out the Olay Luminous tone correcting stuff. Haven’t really noticed a difference yet. Still looking for the unicorn face stuff to help with hyper-pigmentation.
