Hey! I'm in a bit of a sticky situation. So, I've been dating this guy for almost 4 years, and now he's a 3L in law school. For the past two weeks, he's been studying for his exams and he's schedules 30 minutes (seriously!) a night to talk to me (we live in different states, a train ride away). But since Friday, he told me that he's not going to have any more time to talk to me until exams are over. Okay, that's irritating, but I can deal with that kind of. But then he has his bar prep coming up and he told me that he's going to study 18 hrs a day and he may not have time to call me. I said, "You could at least call to say goodnight" and he was like, I'll text you, I don't want our phone calls to be too long. And, he's not going to be able to visit. Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I hate the state of our relationship right now and this is how it will be until August. And I'm worried that when he starts working, it'll be the same thing. He'll be so swamped with work that he'll only allot me 20 minutes a day of his time. We will be long distance for at least another year, and I'm nervous that this is going to be our relationship for the next year with Bar prep and his first job. Any words of wisdom or advice? :)
