Re: the breastfeeding article on Jez... why, WHY does someone (or multiple someones) always have to use the phrase "whip out her breast" when they refer to someone breastfeeding? How did this become a phrase we use? Because I nursed my kids for what in this country is considered an obscenely long time, and I was around a lot of other breastfeeding mothers, and I've never seen anything that could be considered "whipping it out." But without exception EVERY discussion about public breastfeeding results in someone using that phrase.
