Welcome To The Bitchery

I made some cultured butter, by mixing cream and yogurt and leaving them in a bowl on the counter overnight. Then today, I used a hand mixer to churn the cream into butter. And then I went through the laborious process of pressing the whey out of the butter, and kneading in some coarse salt. Afterwards, I took the whey and boiled it with some vinegar to curdle the protein, and strained the curds out. I trashed the used whey, and then enjoyed half a toasted hot dog bun, spread with fresh butter and a tiny little fresh cheese. The kitchen is clean, and now I'm bored again.
