I got it for Christmas from my dad who thinks everyone needs to always have all the gadgets. It's fine - I am grateful, because my Roku had just kicked the bucket. But it's not...specifically worth it.
I understand what it does: all the things my Roku box did, plus playing the three songs from my iTunes library through the TV (I am a Spotify user), plus doing anything my iPad can do...through the TV. If I actually had cable, it would be incredibly useful, because there are so many channels. But I don't have cable. Hence the alternative methods of watching TV.
Weird, that an alternative TV-watching service works best with already existing cable service. I wish I could have access to the things I want and pay for them a la cart.
Am I missing something?
