Welcome To The Bitchery

Any candy makers in the house?

I'm making chocolate covered caramels for gifts tomorrow... but I've never done it before and I spent an awful lot on chocolate at the store yesterday. Does anyone have any tips or pointers so I don't mess up? What about packaging? Everyone seems to put them in boxes, but I bought foil wrappers and little organza bags, is that weird? TIA.
