Do you want to gab about it? How about naked Hiddles, huh? That was something.
My roommate and I saw it tonight and both agreed it made us feel like teenagers again (in a good way). We came out of the theater feeling all emo and deep and wanting to be erudite, vintage-loving vampires. I thought it was ridiculously cheesy, but in a very self-aware way that made it fun to watch. They knew their audience (squee-ing Hiddleston fans), they knew the genre, and they knew they wanted to revel in the genre tropes while at the same time making a unique rom com. It's not often you see a film where the characters are in a relatively stable, loving relationship.
What did y'all think?
