Today I noticed this cover at the grocery store checkout. You are a “celebrity news and entertainment news” magazine. Arias is neither a celeb nor entertainment.

I know we have a history of making killers as celebs. The musical Chicago is based on this idea.

Its wrong and downright disturbing. The path to celebritydom should never be through murder. Murder makes one a murderer not a celebrity. Murder is not entertanment, a person is dead and family and friends are in deep pain that will last until death especially for family members. Making her entertainment trivializes the victim and family and friends. Both celebrity and entertainment makes her to be more then what she is making her important. She is not important she forfeited that right when she was found guilty of murder.

The most troubling aspect is. Well let’s be real. If Jodi was not attractive, photogenic or telegenic and she weighed 250 pounds you would never have given her a sentence in your magazine. Oh she is attractve, photogenic and telegenic she becomes a celeb. That shows utter shallowness.Looks do not matter.

The article was her manipulating a couple so she can marry him and get pregnant. If its true or not it does not matter. You gave her a cover and an article she does not deserve getting. She is in a prison not in a blackhole she will see this.

Unless its a change in status in her appeal or she dies she needs to be forgotten. We know what she did and the case don’t give her attention.

To paraphrase Rhett Butler “Frankly I do not give a damn about her prison life”. If she is abused or denied basic human rights then maybe write about it. Trying to get pregnant is not deserving of a sentence.

How about puttng on your cover couples trying ivf but failing, couples too old to adopt but want to, gay couples having obstacles to adopt, these are deserving of your cover and an article. None are entertainment nor celebrity but neither is Jodi Arias. She is simply a murderer nothing more. Do not make her nor her actions be important and more then what she is.

Sorry for sounding mad.
