With SugarHill's request, I thought I would make my own.
I would like to know how to write out the Gaelic lyrics sung by Iarla O'Lionaird in the song Release by Afro Celt Sound System.
I know the lyrics are essentially the same as the English, but I can't find them written out and I would like to use the Gaelic in an art piece.
Don't argue amongst yourselves / Because of the loss of me / I'm sitting amongst yourselves / Don't think you can't see me
Don't argue amongst yourselves / Because of the loss of me / I haven't gone anywhere / But out of my body
Reach out and you'll touch me / Make effort to speak to me / Call out and you'll hear me / Be happy for me
After the first album was released, one of the band members died from a massive asthma attack and the song was written from his point of view. I think it is one of the most beautiful statements about death and loss.
