Yes he died a while ago. His short 200 page novel Marlow Chronicles is one of the few books I read twice. It reads like a play. Its about a famous stage actor who was told he had 6 months to live. I picture the late Jonathon Harris as ideal for this role. He is a bore, a jerk and arrogant. He believes all the world is a stage and acts like he is playing the lead role. His adult son and he fight and argue. Marlow reminisces a bit.
Also Sander's McNally novels are hysterical to read. McNally works as a detective for his dad's law firm and he tries to keep scandals really private although it oftens backfires. I strongly suggest the McNally books.
