Anyone walked out at intermission at a play/musical

Walked out as in leaving the theater to do other things or going home, not getting up to stretch. Just wondering if anyone did this? My mother and I did it exactly one time. It was the musical Pump Boys and Dinettes done by a semipro group that my state had back in the 1980s. This was circa 1985. It was during the summer. Maybe because we are northerners but the music had a lot of twang in it and it was annoying. The actors were all from the Boston/NYC corridor so I suspect the twang effect and southern accents were fake, if they had real southern accents maybe it would not have been so bad. Other folks were also leaving.

Anyone like or familiar with this musical? Have you ever walked out at intermission during a play/musical?
