As some of you may have gleaned, I'm a foster-to-adopt mom of a tween girl. I am certified by my local county. I've been fostering for a year and the adoptions papers have been filed with the court so we were are just waiting to get a date from the judge. I'm also involved in my local foster parents association.
I'm happy to answer any questions about being a foster parent, so ask away. The big caveat is that policy and procedures vary from state to state and county to county within the state but I can give you my take on things.
