I’m applying to grad school and in the next week or so I need to ask one of my current professors to be a reference.
She doesn’t need to write a letter, but she will need to fill out a separate form for each school. I’m applying to 3 schools. This professor doesn’t know me super well, but she knows my name, remembers that I’ve taken her in a previous class and that I did really well in it. I’m pretty confident that she will say yes to being a reference.
My question is, what should I provide her when I ask for the reference? Should I give her a copy of my resume? A shortened personal statement? A copy of a paper I wrote in the other class I took with her?
