Barbecue season is almost upon us, but I’m less interested in the meat of it. For me, parties are an excuse to bake. So let’s talk desserts! What are your tips to share with the class?

Mine: Want an easy cupcake topping? Bake them and let cool, stick a jumbo marshmallow on top, and broil until they are puffed and golden. Smush down with a spoon et voila! I did a basic chocolate cupcake, but next time I might try a graham cracker crumb crust and/or garnish.
