Does anyone here share an account with someone they're not married to? Geekboy and I keep talking about getting a joint account. It would just make life easier, bills, groceries etc.. We both have car loans, he's helping me with my scary legal things at the moment, I make slightly more than him but my student loans totally cancel that out.
We're not married, we don't plan on getting married anytime soon we're both good with perhaps never. We rent and plan on staying renters (the idea of owning a house or condo scares the crap out of both of us). The pets are shared and we are not having kids ever. We've been together over 2 years and living together for a 1.5 years of that.
We both like our individual banks too. He likes his small mid-west bank that gives him a $250 overdraft and no fees. I like my big bank with lots of ATMs, online billpay and mobile deposit app. We share a Paypal, a savings account (technically mine at my bank but he direct deposits a portion of his weekly check into it).
Tell me your stories. Help me adult or just send a cat gif. Telling me I'm an idiot will get you dismissed.
