So this is something I may have spoken to some of you on here about before? I'm not sure, but it is a thing that I think about often, and have not really been able to find more good reads about it about despite googling.
Often when people speak about being trans, there is reference to feeling like they are of a certain gender, but associations with things that are stereotypically pertinent to that gender? Like dresses or cars or liking boys or liking girls.
I just wanted to know about how that interacts with rejecting gender essentialism. Like, you can be a boy and not like cars, right? You can be a boy and wear dresses? You can be a gay boy who like cooking? You can be a girl and like cars and other girls? I don't know? Does anyone have any good reading recommendations on this?
