I was just cc’d on an email that started like this:
“Hi Nancy, I’ve come across a new opportunity for store #1234. Can you please ship out 2 new (very expensive items) overnight so we can complete the installation? The hardware was shipped to the installer, but we can’t get in touch with the technician and this is time sensitive.”
Thousands of dollars of missing hardware and a disappearing installer for something that was supposed to be done two days ago is hardly an opportunity!
Replies are already coming in where people are trying to decide how to ‘action’ this ‘opportunity’.
