Hallmark did a Best of Rescue Show like Westminster Dog Show but with rescues and real events like “best lap dog”, “best snorer” and “booty shaking”. All fun and heartfelt until the “best in special needs”. Sad but heartening these dogs did not seem to let their disabilities get them down, three legged dog was running, the blind dog was frisky and friendly. People so often define themselves by their disability but these dogs seemed like they were not.
Sometimes I have an urge to go to the shelter and get more dogs but realize BF and GF are as much as we can handle. My mother offers to babysit dogs but will not foster she is convinced she would adopt the dog. BF was a foster in less then a day my mother adopted him.
