Cameron Esposito on why women "aren't funny" is just not true. Also a great sentiment on why women should support each other in the comedic (and basically any and all) communities they share.

In the stand-up and comedy writing communities, there is sometimes this special-snowflake syndrome that women get when they find success. As if they are one of the "cool girls" who can hang with the boys. That's becoming less of a trend these days and it's so refreshing. A lot of comediennes get harped on for speaking up about, well, everything they face in the industry.

It's rare to see women in comedy actively working to support and create outlets for other women. Most of us are still too scared to even try.

This is awesome and more people should be like her.
