Bleach Baths for Eczema?

So apparently this is a thing. The first time I came across it, I thought I had run into some Miracle Mineral crazies, but they talk about using household bleach. And then I saw it on the Mayo Clinic’s website. Apparently people with eczema tend to have unusually high populations of Staph bacteria on their skin, and the bleach helps deal with that. And the bleach is very dilute to the point of being roughly the same concentration as a swimming pool.

Still, it sounds awful. I am not at the point where I am ready to try it, but I am about to try a recommended course of treatment from the Canadian Ezcema Society which involves soaking in a lukewarm bath, followed by steroid cream and lots of moisturizer.

Are there any words out there that contain less joy than “lukewarm bath”?

Anyways, are there any other eczema sufferers out there in Groupthink land? What works for you?
