I have a carpet related dilemma, folks. So I purchased this Groupon months ago for a carpet cleaning, fully intending to use it, and so I called today and had the cleaning scheduled for next week. Everything should be fine and dandy, right? Well, not so much.

I'm having doubts about this company I hired because they have a 1 star rating on Yelp. 1 star with a lot of complaints about them surprise overcharging people, not completing jobs, and sending notifications to the BBB. Should I just call and cancel them now and avoid the drama? It sounds like a lot of people actually had Groupon refund their money because it was so horrible. I don't think I've ever asked for a refund on a Groupon before, but it's making me real nervous; and I don't know if I can just chalk up all of those reviews as something I can take with a grain of salt, probably more like a salt lick.
