Changing Routines: How Do You Reward Yourself For Doing Good Things?

I used to do my homework and studying ASAP because then I could transition into fun-Vulva mode (read: drinking). Now that I'm not drinking (5 days as of tonight) I find it harder to motivate myself to do the things that I need to do. How do you motivate yourself to do things? And how do you reward yourself afterward?

(I also told my spouse about my issues and my plan, which he supports wholeheartedly. I have an intake appointment on Monday for counseling at my university health center and will have a regular counselor by Thursday. Progress, but now this new weird motivation thing. Like y'all said, some steps forward and some back. I'd love everyone's personal routines so I can have some ideas on how to change my own.)
