I thought it would be a good idea to do a little check in with ourselves. How are y’all doing? How are you coping with all the BS going on in the world? Are you taking the time to take care of yourself?
On my end, it has been a week and it’s only Wednesday.
I woke up this morning and I just stayed in bed thinking about everything that has been happening in the last year. I didn’t realize just how much shit I’ve dealt with until I actually did a mental checklist. I’ve always been someone who focuses more on the well-being of others and I often forget to check-in with myself. Things have been hard, but I’m actually quite happy with how well I’ve done managing all the BS, and I can honestly say I’m holding up well. I’m not going to get into all the shit going on, but this week/year has been a great reminder of how resilient I am. I’m proud of that.
