The vultures got to it before I could get a pic, but... Gf/Df chicken potpie! I had 4 leftover smashed red potatoes, half a can of chicken chunks, and about a cupful of peas ‘n’ carrots kicking around in the fridge that nobody was interested in. I whipped up some gravy using a bouillon cube, cornstarch, and some spices, chopped up the potatoes and chicken, and topped it with the veggies. Poured the gravy over, covered it, and into the oven for 15 minutes. Voilà! Dinner is served. Amazing how much better those leftovers looked, then... :D
I also made garlic bread sticks for those who can have them. I got some rather stale bread sticks from the food pantry, so I rubbed them with garlic-infused oil, sprinkled them with garlic salt and parmesan cheese, and wrapped them in foil to warm in the oven. Yummy!
