Back home from a work conference, and after staying in a hotel room where everything is neat and tidy because there’s nothing there but the essentials and what you packed, I come back home and actually SEE the piles of stuff everywhere. Clothes in almost every room (seriously-kitchen, tv room, bathroom, dining room) and so much paper clutter. It’s like living in it, you have a mental block and don’t see it. I’m single (and loving it) so this clutter is. All. Mine.

So I started watching TED talks and came across this one:

And she talks about physical, mental, and emotional clutter. She also said a couple things that really stuck with me today:

Clutter is anything keeping you from living the life you want to lead.

Clutter is postponed decisions.

I wanted to share because I keep thinking about these statements. It’s almost like a switch has flipped in my brain and I’m ready to make a change. Anyway, I followed up with this one:
