CND Debate on Women's Issues Stalled due to Two Parties Refusing to Participate

Wanna make a guess which two parties it is?

No Surprise, the Conservatives are one.

The other, the NDP.

Apparently, Thomas Mulcair’s vow not to appear in any debate that does not also include the Prime Minister is more important than a debate on women’s issues. The last debate on women’s issues in Canada involving Federal party leaders involved Brian Mulrooney, John Turner and Ed Broadbent. (That’s 1984 for any non-Canadians and/or young’uns.)

Personally, I think Mulcair’s vow at this stage is a mistake. He’s currently the front runner. He should stop chasing Stephen Harper, and try to make Harper chase him.
