Caveat: It’s a Canadian Conservative politician - who is likely going to run for the leadership of the conservative party - who wrote an editorial in the National Post today calling for less of ‘telling women how to deal with casual, ‘everyday’ sexism’ and calling out men for engaging in it.
Bottom line, I shouldn’t have to mentor the young women on my staff with tips and tricks to combat sexism.
If it’s truly 2016, sexism should be your problem to deal with, not simply ours.
So yes, lots of skepticism here for a politician’s motives. Maybe some western Canadian folks can rain on this parade a bit, but nevertheless, it’s a good read.
