Ok, this is the best response to the Logo-Gate. I was talking to Mr. Zbornak about the logo being removed/replaced, etc. I won't get into the politics of the logo, but suffice to say, I told him there was some controversy about the logo. I told him the mods removed the logo primarily for NSFW concerns (don't get me started on that post - I'm pretty furious...), and this is the conversation that followed:
Mr.Z: Wait, it was more than just women who were offended.
Me; uh, yeah.... What do you mean?
Mr. Z: Well, why are they pulling the logo based on women being offended? That doesn't seem like the primary concern in this instance.
Me: Ok.... I agree with you, but I'm not sure I follow your logic. What do you mean by "more than just women were offended?"
Mr. Z: NSFW. They removed it because it was NSFW.
Me: ... *cocking my head* I'm still confused...
Mr. Z: Not Safe For Women. It seems like a really sexist reason to pull content.
Me: HAAAHAAAAHAAAAAHAAAHAAA!!!!!!! NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN!!!!!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU THOUGHT THAT MEANT?????!!!! HAAAAHAAAHAAAHAA!!!!!
It is hilarious to me that he thought NSFW meant Not Safe For Women. It's so ridiculous!
