Cooking Dilemma: Does Chili Lime Go With Bacon?

Kinja ate my last post so this one will be much less carefully crafted.

Long story short: I want to make pork tenderloin since it's on sale. I wanted to wrap it in bacon but Boyrax wants a chili lime recipe that I found on the internet. My mother says she doesn't think chili lime would go well with bacon, so I should do one or the other, but I asked her why she thinks that and she has no more insight than "I just don't think they'd be good together".

What say you, GT chefs? Would that recipe still be good if I wrapped it in bacon?
