I have a piece of shit stockpot, but it’s my biggest pot and I want to make chili dammit. It always burns the bottom of course, no matter how much I stir, no matter how slowly I heat something. I google around for some ideas but everything’s like “don’t buy shitty pot.” WELL I ALREADY HAVE IT ASSHOLES.

Do we think putting another skillet or pan under it will help? I was thinking to use my cast iron skillet, but I also have a nonstick/teflon one and a stainless steel one that would fit. I also don’t want to mess up the nicer piece of cookware under it.
