Today, I (Butt) made these AMAZING marshmallows. They are beer marshmallows, made with a local microbrewery's stout. Then I dipped those motherfuckers in milk chocolate and dusted them with salty crushed pretzels. Base recipe here. To make the beer deliciousness really stand out, I reduced two cups of beer to one cup, replacing the one cup of water called for in the recipe.
They are the most insanely delicious things to come out of my kitchen in a long time. Mr. Buttcheeks would like to sell them. I might let him.
Currently bubbling away on the stove is Emeril's Beef Stew, which I pretty firmly believe is the best beef stew on earth. Especially if you happen to find a stray rosemary sprig in the fridge to throw in the pot too.
