Cracked has an interesting article today about women in the military - "5 Shockingly Outdated Problems Women in the Military Face" (Everything is "shocking" or "mindblowing" or "insane" according to the Cracked editing team, but I'll give them this one).
The article is based on the experiences of a 20-year female veteran. As always, the comments are a shit-show, but the article itself is well worth the read. Unfortunately, some of the accompanying pictures are just awful, especially the photo of a woman's breasts painted in camo to illustrate the point on sexual assault in the military. I've done blog editing in a professional capacity. I know how hard it can be to come up with a photo that illustrates a point, especially something sensitive like sexual assault. But come on, almost any other image would have been better.
What do you all think?
