Do you ever find yourself suddenly craving foods you don't really like, and then suddenly as it came, the craving is gone?

For me, it is usually orange juice. I don't hate orange juice, but given the choice between it and other juices, I will usually choose others. But about once a year I will get crazy orange juice cravings, drink a gallon or two in less than a week, and then suddenly the craving is gone, usually when I still have half a container in the fridge.

Right now, I'm on some sort of weird egg binge. I usually only ever use eggs in baking. But in the last week I've had 3 egg salad sandwiches, 2 hard boiled eggs, and when I got up this morning, all I could think of was eating was a fried egg sandwich.

Sometimes, I want nothing more than a hot dog, will eat a package of them and not want any for another 6 months to a year.

I'm not sure if these are cravings based on nutritional nerds (hot dogs definitely not) or some weird brain thing, or what. But the cravings always confuse me when they come around.
