So every summer, Mr. Ivriniel and I sign up with a Community Supported Agriculture Program that delivers to our local farmer's market. This was the first week. After that long winter we had, the program started up a little late this year, and even now, the pickings were a bit slim and mostly confined to leafy things but this is what we got:
and sweet potatoes out of the farm's storage
We also signed up for a flour share this year, so we got a kilogram of freshly ground whole wheat flour.
Not sure what I'm going to do with any of it at the moment. Kale can be turned into chips easily enough, and there was a rapini pasta recipe in the CSA newsletter that sounded tasty.
Kohl rabi tends to confound me, so if anyone has any good suggestions for that one, I'd love to hear it. I also don't know what to do with radishes other than tossing them in a salad, so would like some ideas for that, too.
