Culinary conundrum

AKA WHERE IS SNAX, NACHOS EXPERT? I have this barbecue sauce and this sour cream and some onions, and I want to get tomatoes. I need to make lunch for next week. So the obvious solution is nachos. Do I buy cheddar and melt it on the tortilla chips, or does queso work for this? I'd still have to buy a jar of queso, but queso is tasty and I ate chicken meatball and cheese sandwiches last week so melted real cheese is kind of old.
