Two years ago, I dyed my underlayer. I absolutely love it, but my stylist pointed out that that chunk of hair can probably only take one or two more colors. It’s beginning to fade more quickly, and it takes a LOT more work to get it dyed. Basically, it’s time for a reset. We need to cut a chunk of my hair off.
I’m doing my best to stay away from a mom bob, not because I have any issues with it, but because I had one before and while it was low-maintenance, it was also... boring. I don’t want to go from cool colors to something that all the other moms at my kids’ schools seem to have.
As a result, I’m thinking of a shaggy bob. Unless the internet is lying to me, it should be fairly easy to take care of (air dry + texturizer? Sign me up!). Or maybe this is the new boring style? I have no idea. I don’t get out much.
Thoughts? Words of caution? Any other suggestions?
