Dadlock met with his neurologist, and he has been released from all medical restrictions! He is free to travel where, when, and however he chooses!
Long story short(ish): earlier this year he had a subdural hematoma. It was bad. Really bad. Bralock and I had bags packed waiting by the door in case we needed to leave quickly. The doctors ended up drilling holes in his skull to drain the fluid. The procedure went really well, and he handled it like a champ. Afterwards Dadlock’s speech pattern was just like my grandfather’s when he had a massive stroke. We were told he would get better, and he had a high likelihood of his speech returning to normal. It has. He still tires easily, but that is to be expected.
It is great, wonderful, amazing news, and I wanted to share it with all of you lovely people who helped me through the rough patch.
