Ok, I probably won't do this daily... but I do it pretty often. Another dog for you! Maybe you can adopt her?
Little baby Blinky is 8 weeks old. Her momma dog kinda freaked out and attacked her, hurting her eye. The family who owned her and her mom couldn't afford vet care, so they dropped her off at Chicago Animal Care & Control. A volunteer heard poor Blinky screaming in pain, and immediately scooped her up and got her to an emergency vet. Her eye had to be removed, but I think it adds to her charm! She is happy and healthy now, and is being house trained and learning how to walk on a leash in a foster home. She'll be spayed and microchipped when she's old enough. The posting says: "To meet and possibly adopt Blinky, please contact her rescuer Charlie at firstname.lastname@example.org or 773-743-5760. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control."
