Opening this topic up for advice, tips, questions, gripes, or whatever. How do you de-stress?

Ever since my dad’s illness/step-bro’s psychosis/etc, etc, I’ve had a very sensitive stress button. Things in my life were at emergency level all the time, and so now I feel like I’m all hyped up. I get so stressed out so intensely and I don’t always know what to do.

As a recovering alcoholic, I now know that I used alcohol to self-medicate my anxiety. No more of that! And in the year or so after my father died I restricted food a lot. Not good! But I haven’t really come up with reliable alternatives.

So how do you de-stress? How do you practice self-care? Any tips very welcome!
