A few months ago, while Homey was laid up and I was being chef, nurse, and maid, in addition to, you know, working a 50+ hour a week job, I decided that I needed some “me time” and signed up for a yoga class at the fancy studio downtown.
It’s been wonderful! This studio is awesome and every week, the teachers choose a theme to guide us in our practice. They totally tap into my nerdy, literary side by reading a little bit to us each week. Before we center, they read passages related to the theme. It’s really fun and it keeps me engaged: What’s the theme going to be this week?!
Today, the theme was growth. During our final meditation, the instructor asked us to ask ourselves, “What do you need to continue to grow? What do you need to let go of, in order to grow?”
While the answers might not be immediately obvious to you (they aren’t for me!), I thought they would be interesting questions to pose to y’all, while I continue to ruminate on it.
So, GT, what do you need to continue to grow? What do you need to let go of, in order to grow?
