I'm gonna have some strawberry cake tonight for my much delayed birthday dessert. It was made by my mom and my niece and her coughs. But no freaking dextrose. Advertising in so many ways trumpets convenience without sacrificing taste. What do you guys think? What is your favorite cake? And do you use short cuts or are you a scratch baker? (My mom used a mix)
