I always eat a ton of this during strawberry season, which lasts for like six months in SoCal, and I've been basically living on it for the last week:

Strawberry Spinach Salad
12 oz. fresh baby spinach
1 pt. sliced strawberries
2 tbsp. sliced green onion
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/4 c. safflower oil
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. Tabasco (or more to taste)
1โ€“2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper (or more to taste)

Toast the sesame seeds in a dry non-stick pan on the stovetop.

Combine the oil, vinegar, Tabasco, sugar, salt, and pepper in an airtight container and shake vigorously until the sugar and salt have dissolved.

Put the spinach, strawberries, green onions, and sesame seeds in a large bowl, add the dressing from the last step, toss, and serve. (Since I usually just make it for me, I make the dressing and keep it in the fridge, and then make individual-salad-sized bowls of spinach, strawberries, sesame seeds and green onions and dress them as I eat them. SO GOOD OMG.)
