Welcome To The Bitchery


It’s cold outside and the wind is blowing about 35 mph outside, so dinner tonight is mostly comfort food. I made “company spaghetti”. It’s a family recipe; the original calls for 1/2 lb of spaghetti, 1 can of tomatoes, 1 green bell pepper, 1 cup cream or evaporated milk, 1 cup American cheese put in a casserole dish and topped with buttered cracker crumbs baked at 350 for 30 minutes. I like to substitute a can of tomatoes with green chilies, and just use whatever cheese I have on hand. Tonight I’m eating it with one of those bagged chopped salads so I can feel a little better about the cheesy buttery carbs I’m about to eat.
