Welcome To The Bitchery

Hivemind, quick, what the fuck do I make for the main course tomorrow night? For starters, I'm making dover sole goujons with sweet chili dip, and I'm going to make a key lime pie tonight for dessert. There doesn't seem to be any connection or theme to the courses which I am not sure is a problem or not. I don't know. I've literally never cooked for guests before.

The guests themselves are weirdly perfect people (professional couple with four angelic children under the age of ten who never misbehave) and I'm terrified of screwing up. They have us round for dinner a lot and the food always looks like it should be on Masterchef.

I feel like a failure already and it's STRESSING ME OUT.

ETA: Anything that can be made in a slow cooker and still look nice would be awesome.
