It’s hot. It’s like, 87F. Gross. But I promised the kids a specific dinner tonight, so I’m cooking. The sacrifices I make for you kids! *shakes fist at the sky* :-P
I made beans and meat, which is pretty much what it sounds like. One large kielbasa, cut into bite size chunks, fried with sliced onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Add a splash of Worcestershire, a bit of Thai sweet chili sauce, and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce. Once that’s all browned and the smell is making you drool, add in 1-2 large cans of your favourite baked beans. Simmer together for about 15 minutes, and serve over rice. Sweet/salty/spicy and all around wonderful.
