What are your favorite distractions when you are having all the feelings you don't want to have? Currently, and this is 100% due to not wanting this divorce that I am getting, I Google "re-marrying your ex" and read up on Elizabeth Taylor and pretend that is something that could happen to me and him. Super healthy, right? And yet it keeps me calmer than facing the reality that we will never again be together. Or I read my horoscope (which I don't actually believe in, but I find it to be mindless entertainment). Or I play endless games of Candy Crush.
I need healthier distractions. Any suggestions?
